Coop Norge chooses Pricer electronic shelf labels solution
Pricer has announced a new framework agreement with Coop Norge to supply and install its electronic shelf labels (ESL).
The deal, which was signed by Pricer’s Norwegian reseller, StrongPoint, runs from January 2021 until December 2022.
The estimated value is SEK 140 million, excluding the cost of installation and future technical support.
“We are proud that Coop in Norway, a long standing customer to StrongPoint, has chosen our robust, reliable and scalable ESL solution after a competitive tender,” says Helena Holmgren, President and CEO at Pricer.
“This paves the way for store efficiency and outstanding customer experience.”
Lifvs
European unmanned grocery stores venture, Lifvs, recently selected Pricer’s ESL solution to power staffless pricing.
Lifvs launched its first store in 2019 and its estate now spans 27 outlets.
Unlike rivals Amazon Fresh and China’s Auchan Minute concept, both of which focus on urban convenience, the Swedish startup targets remote communities that have lost their local shops over recent years.
