Shein X Rock The Runway 2021 set for 26th September
Fast fashion e-commerce venture Shein has enlisted Saweetie, The Chainsmokers, Darren Criss, Thuy, Willie Gomez, Riley Clemmons, and Blu DeTiger for a music and fashion based virtual event.
According to a press release, Shein X Rock The Runway 2021 is “an exciting hybrid special event that is part music concert, mixed with innovative choreographed dances in a non-traditional fashion show.”
“As a one stop destination for fashionistas, Shein aims to create a one stop destination for discovering indie music, global superstars, dance choreographers, and entertainment through this unforgettable fashion event.”
The initiative will also support and raise awareness of and donations for civil rights organisation National Action Network and Youth Emerging Stronger, which helps homeless young people. Shein is donating $350,000 across both charities.
The event will take place on 26th September (2pm PST) and will include five segments, showcasing Shein’s Fall-Winter 2021 collections, while featuring performances by the aforementioned artists.
In the wake of the Shein X Challenge (which aired its finale on 12th September via YouTube), the show will also feature the top five finalists’ designs during a Shein X segment.
