Shoppertainment startup Firework taps execs from Google, Snap, Amex and Albertsons
Livestream commerce platform provider Firework has announced four new appointments to its executive leadership team – Suzanne Strasser Grant, Steve Stafford, Eva Wang, and Mark Wurtzel.
Strasser Grant has joined as its Global Head of Agency and Strategic Partnerships.
Her career has included leadership roles at Google, Snap, NBCU and Uber.
Prior to joining Snap as its first Director of Global Agency Business Development, Strasser Grant spent nearly nine years at Google at the forefront of its new media platforms, including Search, Google TV Ads , Display, Video and the Upfront Deal teams.
Wurtzel is the new VP, Head of Brand Solutions. Prior to joining Firework, he spent 13 years at Google, leading multiple teams across search activation, large customer success and sales activation, and television advertising.
Before that, he was at Sony Pictures Television where he headed up west coast syndication sales as SVP, Western Region Syndication while previously managing the division’s syndication research efforts.
Wang now serves as Head of Commerce and Partnerships. She has held multiple leadership roles at American Express, most recently heading up its US Acquiring Partnership team.
Staafford, meanwhile, takes on the role of Head of Retail, leading all retail relationships for the business worldwide. His CV includes overseeing digital and omnichannel initiatives at the likes of Albertsons Companies and Sears Holdings Corporation.
