Felleskjøpet Agri expands partnership with RELEX Solutions
Felleskjøpet Agri, and equipment supplier to Norwegian farmers and retailer of agricultural products, pet products and gardening equipment, has expanded its partnership with RELEX Solutions.
This will include space aware replenishment, access to RELEX’s mobile platform, forecast sharing, and enhancements to capacity management.
Since 2018, RELEX has automated and centralised Felleskjøpet Agri’s supply chain processes, providing demand forecasting, automatic replenishment, allocations, and integrated supply chain planning for the company’s 96 Norwegian stores and one distribution centre.
With the expansion, Felleskjøpet Agri will receive mobile access to the RELEX platform, which will allow improved collaboration between store personnel and the central team.
RELEX’s mobile platform provides Felleskjøpet Agri with easy access to its product master data and allows store personnel to maintain shelf space data.
RELEX will further help Felleskjøpet Agri optimise its goods flow to better match available store space, thus reducing the number of delivery rows and handling costs for both DCs and stores.
In addition, the solution will maximise in-store shelving efficiency with Felleskjøpet Agri’s deliveries, matching stores’ space availability and reducing backroom visits for employees.
The latter will also see suppliers’ delivery accuracy improved through forecast sharing that will increase suppliers’ visibility into future purchasing volumes to support collaboration with Felleskjøpet Agri during product introductions, seasons, and campaigns.
Furthermore, the solution will allow better capacity management through order and delivery projections to increase on-shelf availability.
“We have already achieved great results automating and centralizing our supply chain planning with RELEX,” says Trond Magne Aamodt, Supply Chain Manager at Felleskjøpet Agri.
“By expanding our partnership, we will continue adding to these achievements while increasing visibility and collaboration between our suppliers, our central planning team, and our store employees.”
