Dave Wilson departs Hollywood Bowl Group for world of retirement
Dave Wilson has left the position of IT Director at Hollywood Bowl Group and announced his retirement from the retail technology world.
He spent almost seven years at Hollywood Bowl Group.
Prior to that, Wilson was Head of Technical Services (UK & IRE) at Vue Entertainment.
An impressive CV also included stints as Head of Business Systems at Jessops, IT Director at Dunelm, and Head of Store Systems at Next.
In a LinkedIn post, Wilson said: “After 35 years in the IT world, I will hang the keyboard up on 12th May and take some well earned rest and venture into the world of retirement.”
“I will be spending more time with my family, watching plenty of cricket, football and horse racing, as well as continuing with my trustee charity work and as an exam invigilator for a couple of local education academies.”
He added: “My (semi!) retirement has been planned for the last 12 months and Hollywood Bowl Group have been nothing short of exceptional in their support. A wonderful business and I’m proud to have finished the last six and a half years of my career journey with them.”
