Home lighting retailer Lamps Plus brings in e-commerce veteran Richard Hoalst as new Chief Digital Officer

US-based home speciality lighting retailer, Lamps Plus, has appointed Richard Hoalst as Chief Digital Officer in a newly created role.

Reporting to CEO Jason Goldberger, he will lead the transformation of the company’s digital commerce efforts across website, marketing, creative, and marketplaces.

Hoalst joins the company with nearly 30 years of leadership experience overseeing e-commerce, marketing, and merchandising teams across brands in a variety of industries.

Most recently he served as Executive Vice President - Chief Customer Officer at Guitar Center, and previously, Senior Vice President non-food categories for HEB, and Vice President/General Manager, eCommerce at Nike for 11 years.
