Camden High Street here we come! MINISO gears up for opening of its biggest store in the UK

Lifestyle retailer MINISO has announced the launch of its biggest ever store in the UK.

Located on Camden High Street, this will open its doors to the public on Wednesday, 14th February at noon. 

Spanning across 4,110 square feet, it will mark MINISO’s 26th store in the UK and its fourth standalone high street location.

According to a press release: “The UK has witnessed a surge in cute culture, with adorable vibes taking over and winning hearts across the board.”

“Embracing all things Kawaii - cute characters, sweet designs - the trend has become a lifestyle staple. MINISO is smack bang in the middle of that trend, renowned for items like Blind Boxes and adorable plushies, last year it sold 30 plush toys per hour.”

The new Camden store will be the first to have dedicated zones for key ranges such as Sanrio, beauty, snacks and Blind Box collectibles.

It will also feature stylish homewares, cute accessories and a newly launched beauty and self-care line, featuring nail polishes, face masks, perfumes, and essential makeup products.

The opening day will feature a live DJ, and shoppers will also have the chance to meet the mascot PenPen.

The first 400 attendees immersing themselves in the grand opening festivities will receive a complimentary goody bag valued at over £25 with any purchase.

The new location is the retailer’s ninth store in London and follows the opening of its other London stores in Oxford Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, Westfield White City, Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, Brent Cross, Harrow, Lewisham and Wandsworth.

MINISO has over 6,000 stores in 100+ countries, including several famous retail destinations such as Times Square in New York.
