Delivery management firm Scurri brings in David Dempsey as Chairman and Fionnula Higgins as Independent Director

Delivery management platform, Scurri, has announced two appointments to its board of directors.  Dr David Dempsey, former Senior Vice President at Salesforce, becomes Chairman, while Fionnula Higgins joins as an Independent Director.

Dempsey is the former Country Leader at Salesforce in Ireland, where he helped set up the SaaS company’s European headquarters in 2000. 

Before that, he held executive positions at Oracle, in both the UK and Ireland, including nine years spent as head of Ireland consulting services.

Higgins is the former Chief Commercial Officer at Escher Group Holdings, which powers e-commerce for postal operators, couriers and logistics organisations. Higgins acquired Escher Group in 2007, and developed the business before listing it on AIM four years later.

In addition to the appointment of Dempsey and Higgins, 40 new roles are planned over the next two years, bringing Scurri’s total headcount to more than 100 employees based in its new HQ in Wexford, Ireland and London office.
