Ocado Intelligent Automation North American hub puts focus on AI driven warehouse robotics

Ocado Intelligent Automation (OIA) has opened a new North American Solutions Hub in Dallas, Texas.

The aim here is to showcase how AI, robotics, and fulfillment execution software come together to deliver scalable, efficient solutions for logistics and supply chain operations in the likes of the retail, healthcare, and 3PL sectors.

Supply chain leaders from various US and Canadian companies attended the recent launch of the facility to see the company's Ocado Storage and Retrieval System (OSRS), Chuck Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and OCADEX On-Grid Robotic Pick Systems operating in real-time.

"Seeing the automation systems operate live at the OIA Solutions Hub can create those 'a-ha moments' that help companies visualise how modern, AI driven robotics can transform their own operations," says Monique Apter, Chief Revenue Officer of OIA. "The Solutions Hub is a one stop shop where you can see what each OIA technology can do for your specific application."

As we witness a digital transformation revolution across all channels, AI tools are reshaping the omnichannel game, from personalising customer experiences to optimising inventory, uncovering insights into consumer behaviour, and enhancing the human element of retailers' businesses.

With 2025 set to be the year when AI and especially gen AI shake off the ‘heavily hyped’ tag and become embedded in retail business processes, our newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world and the resulting benefits for retailers, shoppers and employees.

Our 2025 winners will be those companies who not only recognise the potential of AI, but also make it usable in everyday work - resulting in more efficiency and innovation in all areas.

Winners will be announced at an evening event at The Barbican in Central London on Thursday, 29th January. This will kick off with a drinks reception in the stunning Conservatory, followed by a three course meal, and awards ceremony in the Garden Room.
