Rokt taps Datadog CFO for board of directors and former Wise CFO as advisor and observer
Rokt, an e-commerce technology company using machine learning and AI to make transactions more relevant to customers, has announced several additions to its board of directors and advisory group.
David Obstler, Chief Financial Officer at Datadog, joins the board and will chair the audit committee. Matt Briers, pictured below, former Chief Financial Officer at Wise, has been added as a board advisor and observer of both the board and its audit committee.

Reuben Kan, meanwhile, has been named Chief Research Officer, a newly created role that reflects Rokt’s investment in AI and long-term research.
In addition, Jon Humphrey has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations & Advertising, joining Rokt’s executive committee and reporting directly to Buchanan. In this expanded role, Humphrey will take overall responsibility for Rokt Ads, adding to his current oversight of GTM delivery across operations, solutions, launch, and partnerships.
He joined Rokt after four years at Wunderkind, where he grew and scaled the Solutions team across the US and UK, partnering with various e-commerce brands. Earlier in his career , he worked at Market Metrics, a boutique consulting firm specialising in quantitative analysis for financial institutions.
