Payroll and HR platform Deel and Premier League giants Arsenal agree multi-year partnership
Deel has announced a multi-year partnership with Arsenal, becoming the English football club's official HR platform partner.
The agreement marks Deel’s first major venture into world sport and reflects the company’s ambition to grow its global presence. Its branding will appear across Emirates Stadium and Arsenal’s digital channels, including all home fixtures across the Premier League, Women’s Super League (WSL), FA Cup and League Cup.
Through the partnership, Arsenal will use Deel’s HR platform to streamline the management of its workforce and operations.
Alex Bouaziz, Co-Founder and CEO at Deel, says: "Arsenal is one of the most iconic clubs in world sport, followed by millions and competing at the highest level, which makes this partnership a natural fit with our own global ambition."
“We are proud to welcome Arsenal as a customer, and support the club’s HR operations. This partnership is a milestone for us and places us at the heart of global football, connecting our platform with supporters and professionals in every corner of the world.”
Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer at Arsenal, says: “We’re delighted to welcome Deel to our Arsenal family - a brilliant and innovative team who will bring so much to what we’re trying to achieve at our club. Their global platform matches the scale of our ambition and operations, and their investment will continue to power our growth. We’re looking forward to many successful seasons together.”
Deel currently supports more than 37,000 businesses and 1.5 million workers worldwide. In October, the company announced a Series E funding round valuing it at $17.3 billion.
2025 RTIH INNOVATION AWARDS
HR operations were a key focus area at the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards.
We received a record number of entries and many fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC in Central London on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”
“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”
He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”
Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
