Cargo bike delivery company Pedal & Post announces UK expansion as it lands in London
Last mile logistics specialist Pedal & Post has announced the launch of its second city hub in the UK. Having gone live in Oxford, it is now hitting London, serving areas spanning the likes of the city, Southwark, Lambeth, Westminster, Tower Hamlets, and Lewisham.
In an online post, Pedal & Post says that its logistics hubs are designed to be “a foot in the door at first, visible, welcoming, and functional…We’re aiming to provide a community asset, showcasing a cleaner, quieter, and more people-friendly way to move goods across the city. With a growing fleet of cutting-edge e-cargo bikes, trikes and 100% electric vans, we can handle everything from daily retail drops and floristry orders to pharmaceutical and medical logistics and food deliveries.”
The London operations are expected to complete over 100,000 zero emission deliveries annually to start. Deliveries run seven days a week, with same-day and next-day options. Pedal & Post also deploys microhub infrastructure, e-commerce integrated tech, and real-time tracking.

“Launching a new hub in the capital is no small feat, and I want to give a massive shoutout to the entire team whose hard work, late nights, and dedication made this possible,” says CEO Christopher Benton.
“Our London crew is already off to a flying start - delivering with speed, purpose, and passion. This is a huge step forward in our mission to build a smarter, greener logistics network that works for people and the planet. We’re just getting started - here’s to the road ahead!”
2025 RTIH INNOVATION AWARDS
Last mile delivery will be a key focus area at the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards, which are now open for entries, celebrate global tech innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our 2024 hall of fame entrants were revealed during an event which took place at RIBA’s 66 Portland Place HQ in Central London on 21st November, and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by comedian Lucy Porter.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “The event is now into its sixth year and what a journey it has been. The awards started life as an online only affair during the Covid outbreak, before launching as a small scale in real life event and growing year on year to the point where we’re now selling out this fine, historic venue.”
He added: “Congratulations to all of our finalists. Many submissions did not make it through to the final stage, and getting to this point is no mean feat. Checkout-free stores, automated supply chains, immersive experiences, on-demand delivery, next generation loyalty offerings, inclusive retail, green technology. We’ve got all the cool stuff covered this evening.”
“But just importantly we’ve got lots of great examples of companies taking innovative tech and making it usable in everyday operations - resulting in more efficiency and profitability in all areas.”
Congratulations to our 2024 winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Lucy Porter, and all those who attended November's gathering.
