Starbucks UK hits London's West End through tie up with The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical

Starbucks UK is entering the West End through a new partnership with The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical.

As the production’s official coffee partner, the coffee giant is launching a fashion led pop-up round the corner from Dominion Theatre (where the show is currently playing). The Coffee Edit will take place at its Soho Place store on 13th March and will feature designer pieces inspired by the costumes in collaboration with luxury resale platform THE CIRKEL.

Vic Robertson, Marketing Director at Starbucks UK, says: “This new partnership builds on the renowned role Starbucks plays in The Devil Wears Prada and now the musical, celebrating how everyday coffee rituals can become a symbol of individuality, fuelling creativity in an industry that never stands still. Our coffeehouses are spaces where ideas are shaped, perspectives are formed, and creative ambition takes root.”

A spokesperson for The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical says: “We’re thrilled to officially partner with Starbucks in celebrating the shared legacy of two iconic brands. This joint initiative honours the enduring, trailblazing influence of The Devil Wears Prada Musical in a way that feels fresh, stylish, and delightfully playful. Complete with a chic nod to one of cinema’s most iconic coffee orders, this is a collaboration Miranda Priestley herself fully approves. That’s all.”

The Coffee Edit invites guests to browse a handpicked edit of pre-loved designer pieces inspired by the film’s most memorable wardrobes and runway moments. Across four rails, shoppers will find cerulean blue statements and Parisian runway silhouettes, with pieces priced from £30.00-£350.00, all while carrying samples of the Starbucks new Spring Ube range.

A spoksperson for THE CIRKEL comments: "This was such a fun project for the team and me. The show has so many inspirational characters with iconic wardrobes that narrowing it down to four rails felt borderline impossible. For us, it was about creating a resale experience that elevates everyday moments - combining style, sustainability and culture in a way that feels accessible and exciting, all with the ultimate accessory: coffee.”

For those unable to attend in person, the shopping experience will also be livestreamed on THE CIRKEL's TikTok channel ahead of the opening between 16:00-17:00pm. Across its UK coffeehouses, Starbucks will launch a limited time social competition from 12th March, inviting customers to win prizes in celebration of the new partnership.

Customers need to scan the QR code on stickers in select London stores, or enter direct via  Starbucks UK socials to unlock access to an exclusive three-tier prize draw. Prizes range from a trip to Milan, to exclusive merchandise and ticket giveaways to the musical.

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

Pop-ups will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Thursday, 15th October.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
