Katrina Rose joins Australian omnichannel retailer Adore Beauty Group as Chief Digital Officer
Adore Beauty Group has appointed Katrina Rose as Chief Digital Officer, officially commencing work in September. In a LinkedIn post, Rose, whose CV includes stints at I Like Too Much and Coles Liquor, said: “Adore Beauty has built an incredible brand and loyal customer community, and I’m excited to help lead the next phase of its transformation and growth.”
She added: “Looking forward to working alongside CEO Sacha Lang, the executive team and everyone across the business as we build on the strong foundations already in place and shape what’s next for one of Australia’s most loved beauty retailers.”
From pureplay to omnichannel retailer
Adore Beauty Group this week posted record full-year revenue of $207.3 million for FY26, up 4.3% on the prior corresponding period,
“Transformation is complex. After 24+ years, ways of working and the seasonal rhythm of any retail business become deeply embedded, shaping how we plan, operate and make decisions. Fundamentally reshaping who Adore is - now an omnichannel multi-banner group, while continuing to trade, grow and serve customers takes energy, resilience and absolute clarity in where we are going,” said Lang.
He added: “Over the past 18 months, the Adore Beauty team has done enormous heavy lifting, with one thing at the centre: our customer. I don’t think there is a role in our business that hasn’t had to reshape what ‘everyday’ looks like, for most it’s been new experiences and growth - I’ve enjoyed seeing that across the group. We expanded our network of stores - now at 20 nationwide - replaced our core ERP, opened a world class automated national distribution centre, strengthened our technology and data foundations, and embedded AI into how we work, helping us make better decisions, move faster and create more relevant team and customer experiences every day.”
The retailer has also launched a new loyalty programme, Adore Rewards, evolved its digital experience and built capabilities that improve the way it serves customers.
Lang commented: “Our team have executed all this while serving more than a million customers has required an extraordinary commitment from our people. Our results this week are an important milestone. They are evidence of a new Adore Beauty emerging - from pureplay to omnichannel, an Adore for everyone however our customers choose to shop - online, in stores .. or both .. and more often. The team have delivered a decade of transformation into 18 months.”
2026 RTIH Innovation Awards
Omnichannel retail will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.
Check out our 2025 winners here.
Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”
“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”
He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”
Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
