Levanta raises $22 million Series B to support investment in its creator commerce technology

Levanta, whose technology helps brands find creators, send them products, set up affiliate commissions, track sales and handle payments, has announced a $22 million Series B investment led by Volition Capital, marking the firm's second major investment in the company after leading its $20 million Series A in 2024.

Levanta has now raised more than $43 million in total funding. The new capital will support investment in creator commerce technology and go to market activity, while accelerating its expansion across the retail ecosystem, including bringing dozens of additional retail marketplaces onto the platform.

"We're seeing a broader shift as brands and marketplaces increasingly look to creators and affiliates as measurable drivers of demand beyond their owned channels," says Larry Cheng, Founding Partner at Volition Capital. "Levanta has built the infrastructure to connect that demand with commerce at scale, and we believe the opportunity ahead is substantially larger than when we first invested. We're excited to continue partnering with Ian and the team as they deploy that infrastructure across the retail ecosystem to power creator commerce media."

“We have been profitable or break-even since we launched. Runway has never been a concern for us. But we know a good opportunity when we see one, and speed and scale of execution is what we are after here,” says Ian Brodie, CEO at Levanta. “Today Levanta spans Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, and another retail marketplace we’re announcing soon. We have 90,000+ vetted creators on our platform, with access to millions more through social discovery features, and we're increasingly building creator infrastructure not just for brands, but for the marketplaces themselves. We're calling it creator mommerce media.”

He adds: “In short: most retail marketplaces have not yet enabled their sellers to get involved in creator/affiliate marketing. These sellers want to attract more exposure to their products through creators. And there are millions of creators who want to partner with them. Levanta has created the infrastructure connecting those two sides, enabling the partnerships, economics, attribution, payments, reporting, and everything in between. This round gives us the ability to push harder on that vision, with the aim to bring on a dozen additional marketplaces and thousands of new brands, while continuing to accelerate traffic to our existing Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart sellers.”

He concludes: “One part of this round I'm especially proud of: we were able to provide meaningful cash liquidity to Levanta team members. Startups take a lot of work, and the people building them create a ton of value along the way. I’m excited our team can actually realise some of that value without having to wait for an exit/IPO. There are a lot of people who got us here. Our team, customers, creators, partners, and investors - thank you all so much.”

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

Startups will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
