Firsts for both DoorDash and SKIMS as they shake hands on rapid delivery service across US stores

DoorDash and SKIMS have announced a new partnership to offer on-demand delivery from all of the latter’s retail stores across the US. DoorDash is SKIMS’ first on-demand delivery partner, and SKIMS is the first brand on DoorDash to offer a selection spanning undergarments, everyday clothing, and outerwear.

"We were built on one idea: you should be able to get everything you need in your neighbourhood, right now. And increasingly, that's not just dinner, it's what you're wearing to dinner too,” says Shanna Prevé, Chief Revenue Officer at DoorDash. “SKIMS has built an iconic brand that’s become part of so many people’s everyday wardrobes, and that’s exactly what we want to your doorstep. We're proud to be SKIMS' first ever on-demand delivery partner, giving people a completely new way to shop a brand they already love."

SKIMS was co-founded in 2019 by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede.

“Our focus has always been on understanding what our customers need and finding better ways to serve them,” says Robert Norton, Chief Commercial Officer. “Our partnership with DoorDash gives customers greater flexibility and convenience when shopping SKIMS, making it easier to access the products they want, when they want them. It’s about putting the customer at the centre of the experience and providing a solution that works for them.’’

SKIMS is available on DoorDash from 17 stores across 11 states and Washington, D.C., with nine additional stores coming soon to the platform.

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

On demand delivery will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
