JJ Van Oosten takes on key e-commerce role at Kingfisher
JJ Van Oosten has rejoined Kingfisher as Chief Customer and Digital Officer.
He previously spent three years there as Group IT Director back in the mid-late noughties. His CV also includes spells as Chief Digital Officer at the Lego Group and Chief Technology Officer at Richemont.
“JJ is an experienced digital leader with a track record of driving change in international companies,” says Thierry Garnier, CEO at Kingfisher. “He has a key role to play at Kingfisher as we look to accelerate our digital and data capabilities and grow e-commerce sales.”
Van Oosten comments: “I’m delighted to be returning to Kingfisher after a decade that has seen technology change the world, especially in retail. I’m looking forward to working with the team to build on the foundations Kingfisher has established.”
