ANZ adds eftpos cards to Android Pay
Australian electronic payments network eftpos has signed on with Android Pay. eftpos-only cardholders from ANZ and Cuscal are the first FIs to gain access to the service.
Nearly two million customers from ANZ and eight Cuscal-backed credit unions and banks will now be able to make mobile payments using their Android devices. ANZ Managing Director Products Bob Belan says: “Our customers now have access to a complete suite of digital payment options regardless of which card or device they use. We’re committed to maintaining our leadership position in offering customers new, simple and convenient payment experiences so we’re pleased to provide our eftpos cardholders the option to now make purchases with their Android mobile device.”
