Americans out in force for Black Friday
US shoppers spent a record $7.9 billion online this Black Friday and Thanksgiving, a 17.9% increase compared with 2016, according to Adobe Digital Insights, which tracks 80% of digital spending at America's 100 largest retail websites. The company also predicts that Cyber Monday will be big, racking up $6.6 billion in sales.
Meanwhile, ShopperTrak said bricks and mortar traffic fell 1% on Black Friday.
