Five stand out retail tech funding rounds in 2019
RTIH rounds up the retail technology startups who have been making waves with major investments.
1. Fold
Mobile shopping app venture Fold has raised $2.5 million from the likes of Craft Ventures, CoinShares, Slow Ventures, Goldcrest Capital and Fulgur Ventures.
2. Splio
Marketing tech startup Splio has announced a €10 million funding round led by Ring Capital and also including Swen Capital Partners and existing investors, BPI France and Amundi PEF.
3. Influencer
Social media influencer marketing platform, Influencer, has closed a £3 million Series A round led by Puma Private Equity.
4. Contentstack
DXP startup Contentstack has wrapped a $31.5 million Series A funding round led by Insight Partners with participation from existing backers Illuminate Ventures and GingerBread Capital.
5. Critizr
Customer feedback platform Critizr has pulled in €15 million. The venture, which was founded in France in 2012, has also confirmed investment in two new offices - in London and Cologne, adding to a 85-strong team at existing bases in Paris and Lille.
