Five retailers that are so eco-friendly right now

These retailers are at the forefront of the booming green retail movement.

1. John Lewis & Partners

John Lewis & Partners has launched a pilot at its Oxford store, focusing on ways in which the retailer and its customers can reduce their impact on the planet.

2. Topco Associates

Topco Associates, a US food cooperative, is to pilot Mastercard’s blockchain tech in its supply chain. 

It is working with its member grocery chains, starting with Food City, to use the technology for better line of sight into ethical sourcing and environmental compliance of the seafood selection sold at their stores. The first of several species to be tracked will be salmon, cod and shrimp.

3. adidas

adidas has opened the doors to its new Oxford Street flagship store. This includes over 100 digital touchpoints, all 100% powered by green energy. 

4. Tesco

UK startup Roboscientific has won the 2019 Tesco Agri T-Jam, which was hosted earlier this month in partnership with the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit.

5. Feelunique

Feelunique says that it has become the first European multi-brand beauty retailer to offer ingredient transparency functionality for consumers, working in partnership with Evrelab.
