Amazon preps grocery store launch in 2020
Amazon is planning to open its first new brand of grocery store in California next year.
The e-commerce giant has published four new jobs postings for the location, Woodland Hills, which is a neighbourhood in Los Angeles.
The store will be different from Amazon-owned Whole Foods, Amazon said, although it didn't reveal whether there would be more of these locations, what its selection or pricing will be, or what the brand name is.
One thing we do know, however, is that it won't use Amazon Go technology. The checkout process will instead be along conventional lines.
