Ternua enlists Photoslurp for UGC initiative

Spanish outdoor clothes brand Ternua has teamed with Photoslurp to collect social content generated by users and integrate it into its e-commerce store.

Asier Balza, Digital Marketing Manager of Ternua Group, says: “We had the idea that we wanted to improve the photos that we show of our products in our e-commerce offering, and we liked the fact that user generated content brings more value to them. So that was when we realised that including UGC in our social galleries on our e-commerce store fitted perfectly into our strategy.”

Balza adds: “I’m often the person who manages the Photoslurp platform on a daily basis and it’s very easy, intuitive and effective. Really the platform is designed in a way that everything is done behind the scenes, so that you don’t have to lose time with the interface.”

The brand works with Magento to power its online shop. Balza concludes: “You always expect the topic of integration to be a bit complicated, but the Photoslurp integration turned out to be very easy. We work with Magento and the fact that they have a module that’s already developed specifically for Magento helped so much.”
