Tesco loyalty subscription service Clubcard Plus goes live

Tesco's new Clubcard Plus offering, which gives perks such as discounted shopping for a £7.99 a month fee, launches today.

It can be used in all UK Tesco stores, including Metro and Express shops, and is only available to Clubcard members. It cannot be used for online shops and only those with the retailer’s smartphone app can take advantage. 

A new Clubcard Plus credit card will be introduced, offering no foreign exchange fees for holders as well as 0% interest on purchases for the 12 months from account opening. 

Alessandra Bellini, Tesco Chief Customer Officer, says: “We know that our customers are always looking for ways to make their money go further. That’s why we’re launching Clubcard Plus – so that they can get better value on the products and services that matter most to them, throughout the whole year.”
