Nisa Local in South Wales partners with FastBitcoins

FastBitcoins, a startup whose PoS terminals allow people to buy and spend Bitcoins in physical outlets, has announced Nisa Local of Barry, Wales as a partner.

The tie up is the first struck between FastBitcoins and a franchise member of a major UK convenience store brand.

“In the convenience sector you are only going to be successful if you stand out from your competitors. One of the ways we do this is by providing great products and customer service,” says Arwinder Singh of Nisa Local, Barry, Wales.

“But what puts us way ahead of the pack is offering services that other stores just don’t have, which can drive additional footfall from new and existing customers. Our vape shop is one way we are doing this, and our partnership with FastBitcoins will now allow us to offer yet another in-demand product to capitalise further”.

“Since launching in February we are now operating in seven countries across 56 locations and growing. These locations are all seeing strong volumes from their Bitcoin offerings as the general public become more educated around Bitcoin and seek safe and easy exposure to it,” comments Danny Brewster, Managing Director at FastBitcoins.

“As this happens, we anticipate more big brands and businesses will want to partner with us to differentiate their existing offerings and capitalise on the growing demand for Bitcoin. This partnership is a great sign that stores are just as excited by the idea of Bitcoin as we are”.
