Target Circle pilot grows to six US cities
Target is expanding the beta test of its new Target Circle cardless loyalty programme. This will be made available to shoppers in Denver, Indianapolis, Phoenix, Kansas City (Mo.) and Charlotte (N.C.) on 19th February.
The move adds millions more shoppers to the pilot that began last April in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, when the initiative was known as Target Red. “A Target Run is much more than checking items off your list; it’s about discovery, inspiration and an effortlessly joyful shopping experience. And we’re out to make that experience even more rewarding with Target Circle, offering guests more benefits and attracting new shoppers,” says Rick Gomez, Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Digital Officer, Target.
“We’re building deeper relationships with guests and serving up the most personalised way to shop Target yet, all while encouraging everyone to choose Target again and again.”
Those in the six test markets can sign up at Target.com/circle, by downloading the Target app, or via phone number as they check out at their local store. Benefits include 1% back on each purchase, personalised savings, 50% off a first-year membership on same-day delivery with Shipt, and free next-day delivery on essentials with Restock.
