Retail, financial services veteran joins GetUpside

US retail tech startup GetUpside has appointed Jen Millard as Chief Revenue Officer.

Millard, who will head up the company’s new office in Austin, Texas, has 30 years' experience in the retail and financial services sectors, holding leadership roles with the likes of Mastercard, Truaxis, Saks and Bed Bath & Beyond. "Bringing on an experienced executive like Jen will further position us for nationwide expansion. We are thrilled that she will have access Austin's talented tech ecosystem to make new hires as we build out our innovative personalised commerce platform," says GetUpside CEO/Co-Founder Alex Kinnier.    

GetUpside currently provides deals of up to 25 cents off per gallon at 7,000 US gas stations. It also offers deals at restaurants and grocery stores in select cities, with more being added to its platform this year.
