1.) Made.com takes wraps off Made Labs

Online retailer Made.com has launched a London-based innovation venture, Made Labs.

2.) AO Innovation Lab seeks digital disruptors

Online retailer AO.com has launched an innovation lab, pitched as “a global search for the next digital disruptors”.

3.) MEC enlists Finger Foods Studios for AR app

Canadian outdoor retailer, MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op), has worked with Finger Food Studios on an augmented reality app that showcases tents at its new flagship store in Toronto. 

4.) River Island invests in Nextail AI tech

River Island is rolling out Nextail's AI platform to its network of 343 stores across the UK, Ireland, Asia, the Middle East and Europe and across its entire product line.

5.) Walgreens taps Narvar for pick-up, drop-off service

Customer experience platform Narvar and Walgreens have teamed to provide package pickup and returns at more than 8,000 Walgreens locations with FedEx OnSite services. Participating retailers include Urban Outfitters, Levi Strauss & Co., Cole Haan and Alexandre Birman.
