Five retailers/brands that are so innovative right now

These retailers and brands are leading the way in providing technology that is one step ahead of their customers’ expectations.

1. Phone House

Phone House has teamed with payment platform UTRUST, enabling customers in Portugal to purchase electronics at phonehouse.pt using cryptocurrencies. Other countries will be added in the coming months.

2. Starbucks

Starbucks is set to make its Starbucks Delivers mobile service available throughout the US in early 2020 via an agreement with Uber Eats. 

3. Tory Burch

American fashion brand Tory Burch has opened a flagship store on Alibaba Group’s Tmall Luxury Pavilion platform.

This is the company’s first third-party e-commerce store in China. To mark the opening, Tory Burch has released a Chinese Valentine’s Day tool. Using the augmented reality-powered AR Buy+ function on Mobile Taobao, consumers can scan heart shapes to access a special page that allows them to send personalised letters to their loved ones.

4. Safeway

Rewards shopping app Lolli has partnered with Albertsons Companies’ subsidiary Safeway to give customers 3.5% back in Bitcoin when purchasing groceries online.

5. Krispy Kreme UK

Krispy Kreme UK has teamed with Stuart to provide customers with doughnuts direct from its stores.

The service, which will see items delivered in less than 60 minutes after ordering online, has initially launched as a pilot in London, with plans for a nationwide roll-out.
