In an email to customers, Jason Tarry, the new CEO at Tesco UK & Ireland, also announced that since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the retailer has more than doubled the number of home delivery and Click and Collect slots to 1.5 million each week.

“We are very grateful to you, our customers, for continuing to follow the guidelines that help to protect us all,” Tarry concluded.
