Cainiao heads up coronavirus outbreak medical supplies initiative

Cainiao Smart Logistics Network has launched a channel for the delivery of medical aid donations to areas in China hit by the coronavirus outbreak.

Also supporting the initiative are such carriers and logistics companies as ZTO, STO, Best Logistics, Yunda Express, AirCity, DB Schenker, 4PX and Danniao. 

In the nine days since the channel’s debut, Cainiao, Alibaba Group’s logistics arm, received over 7,000 calls and shipped more than five million pieces of medical supplies to Wuhan and neighbouring cities in Hubei province.
