ReceiptHero celebrates milestone Diebold Nixdorf tie up

Finnish FinTech venture ReceiptHero and PoS terminal provider, Diebold Nixdorf, have announced a partnership, enabling the latter’s merchant customers to send digital receipts to people.

Those who use Vynamic 7.0 or higher can activate ReceiptHero for free. The first client to tap into the software update has been signed and their name will be revealed shortly. Once the update has been tested with this company, it will be rolled out to all other merchants using Vynamic.

‘Improving customer experience is something that everyone in the industry is striving towards. We see digital receipts as an evolving solution and we’re excited to be partnering with ReceiptHero,” says Jari Rantala, Key Account Manager, Retail Nordics at Diebold Nixdorf.

“This is a huge milestone for us, previously we’ve had great success in regards to partnering with Finnish PoS vendors, however with this Diebold Nixdorf cooperation, this elevates us for global scale and allows us to work with larger retailers who use Diebold Nixdorf as their preferred PoS partner,” comments Joel Ojala, CEO, ReceiptHero.

Verifone

Last year, ReceiptHero and payment terminal provider Verifone announced a tie up involving digital receipts linked to the customer’s payment card.

The receipt is delivered to an application of their choice, such as Facebook Messenger, email or accounting software. The solution is also available for banks to integrate into their mobile apps.

“This is a huge statement of intent by Verifone and we are thrilled to work closely with such a big international payment player. This doesn’t just unlock a large portion of the Finnish market, but allows us to look to other Nordic and European markets where Verifone already has a large footprint,” Ojala commented.
