Six stand out retail technology funding rounds

RTIH rounds up the retail technology ventures who have been making waves with major investments.

1. Edited

London-based retail data company Edited has raised just over £23 million in a funding round headed up by Beringea and Wavecrest Growth Partners. Hermes GPE also took part.

2. Blueprint

Conversational commerce startup Blueprint has announced a £1 million seed investment led by Magnus Rausing’s MAHR Projects and including Founders Factory and Hambro Perks. 

3. Luxury Promise

Luxury Promise, an online marketplace for the resale of luxury goods and accessories, has snagged £3 million from VC firm Beringea, the former backer of Monica Vinader and Watchfinder.

4. Peak

Artificial intelligence startup Peak has announced a $12 million extended Series A funding round led by existing investors MMC Ventures and Praetura Ventures. 

5. Back Market

Back Market, which operates a marketplace for refurbished smartphones and electronics devices. has announced a new $120 million funding round from Goldman Sachs, Aglaé Ventures and Eurazeo Growth. 

6. Lolli

Bitcoin rewards startup Lolli recently closed a $3 million Seed II funding round led by Pathfinder, the early-stage investment arm of Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund.
