Boux Avenue gears up for first phase of store reopenings

Boux Avenue, the lingerie retailer owned by Theo Paphitis, will begin a phased return to shopping centres and the high street from Wednesday 24th June.

It will be opening an initial seven stores: Cabot Circus, Bristol; West Quay, Southampton; Bullring, Birmingham; SouthGate, Bath; Manchester Arndale; The Friary, Guildford; Bentall Centre, Kingston. Plans are afoot to bring back further locations in the coming weeks.

Boux Avenue said in a press release: “The safety and confidence of our customers is always our number one priority, so our colleagues have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that rigorous safety measures are in place.”

“Like many retailers, we are facing a “new normal” in terms of how our stores operate, and we are confident that with the high level of expertise and specialist experience of our store colleagues, we’ll continue to offer our excellent standards of customer service.

Due to the nature of Boux Avenue’s offering and government social distancing guidelines, fitting rooms and bra fitting service will not be open until further notice. However, the brand’s specialist bra fitters will be on hand to assist customers.

Other coronavirus-related measures include use of contactless payments where possible, perspex screens at till points, quarantining returned goods for up to 72 hours and sanitising stations available for baskets.
