Euronics goes live with digital receipts in Finland
Euronics has joined ReceiptHero’s merchant network, giving customers in Finland the option of having receipts sent to them digitally when buying in-store.
They will be able to do this via the ReceiptHero iOS & Android apps, and also through its partner applications such as Eurocard, eTasku and Bezala.
‘’We've been eagerly waiting for the first electronics merchant to jump onboard and we’re really happy to see it’s Euronics,” says Markus Kyllönen, Sales Director at ReceiptHero.
“With digital receipts available across 48 locations, Euronics customers will have peace of mind when purchasing any high value items, knowing their receipts are stored digitally whenever they need them”
‘’Having an easy way to activate ReceiptHero’s digital receipt service via our Point of Sale partner, made this an incredibly easy decision,” says Tapio Sievilänen, CEO at Euronics Finland.
“From our side we did not need to allocate any development resources and could go live very quickly. Giving our customers the opportunity to take a digital receipt provides a better customer experience.”
The first stores to be activated to the service are Alajärvi, Heinola, Helsinki, Huittinen, Hämeenlinna, Imatra, Ivalo, Jalasjärvi, Joensuu, Kalajoki, Kaustinen and Kemi with the remaining locations going live before the end of the year.
Plans are afoot to expand over to other countries in 2022.
