MUJI deploys MishiPay mobile self-checkout tech in Sweden
Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI has gone live with MishiPay’s Scan, Pay & Go mobile self-checkout solution in Sweden.
In addition to paying without waiting in line or having contact with checkout terminals, customers can use the tech to check prices, view additional item information and access real-time promotion information.

UK roll-out
Last year, MUJI announced that it was rolling out the tech across its UK stores.
David Brice, Managing Director at MUJI UK, said: “The in-store experience for customers has always been an important part of our brand, and MishiPay’s solution has allowed us to create a new level of convenience.”
He added: “Not only are customers enjoying being able to check out without queuing or touching hardware, but our staff are also more free to help, advise and add real value to the shopping experience rather than processing payments.”
