Chin chin! Aldi Wine School goes live
Aldi UK is laying claim to the first ever supermarket wine school, offering free online classes with its experts.
It launched this week as a continuation of the discount retailer’s Aldiploma wine course, which made its debut in 2019.
Whether you know your Chablis from your Sancerre or simply don’t know where to start, there’s always more to learn about wine. The Aldi Wine School is back and better than ever!

Asda
Last year, Asda launched a wine recommendation kiosk at its innovation store in Stevenage.
Customers answer a few questions on their likes and dislikes and then, using AI, the display will identify wines to suit their palate.
The store recently emerged triumphant in the Bricks and Mortar Innovation category at the 2020 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The award celebrates retailers who are enabling physical spaces to thrive via innovative technology, even as online shopping continues to grow. Further details here.
