Marks and Spencer releases Sparks Book & Shop slots for 12th April
Marks and Spencer has opened Sparks Book & Shop slots for 12th April, the date that coronavirus restrictions are eased and non-essential retailers reopen in England.
“Book & Shop has also been extended until the end of April, meaning customers can beat the queue and carry on shopping with confidence,” the retailer tweeted today.
We’re getting ready for retail to reopen – today we’ve opened our popular Sparks Book & Shop slots for 12 April, so shoppers can plan ahead.

In November of last year, M&S rolled out the online reservation service to all 566 UK foodhalls and larger stores with foodhalls.
It said that it was the first major UK retailer to deploy such an offering. Sparks customers can use it to arrange shopping times and avoid the need to queue when they arrive.
The service was trialled in 80 stores across Scotland and Wales following increased coronavirus related restrictions in those regions.
Helen Milford, M&S Stores Director, said: “With winter ahead, we know customers are increasingly concerned about queuing, so in response, we wanted to deliver a quick, digital solution to help them shop.”
“Designed by our in-house tech teams, Book & Shop does just that. Of course customers will always be able to visit M&S without a slot but we hope this is a small way we can help make things a little easier for our customers.”
