Al Malki Group invests in Fluent Commerce OMS tech
Saudi Arabian retailer Al Malki Group, which represents over 105 luxury brands in the region including L’Oreal Luxe, Dior Beauty, Richemont Group and Estee Lauder Companies, is implementing a new order management system (OMS) from Fluent Commerce.
This will be used to unify and automate the management of in-store and online orders, including real-time inventory management, home delivery, ship-from-store, and Click and Collect.
Daniel Gomez, Al Malki’s Group Chief Digital Officer, says: “Covid has presented us with a unique opportunity to reignite interest in luxury brands in Saudi Arabia as more people stay and shop local.”
“We have chosen to invest in this technology as it enables us to provide our customers with the best possible customer experience and the ability to deliver our products in new and innovative ways.
He adds: “Ultimately, the Fluent OMS provides seamless integration between our physical and online stores and enables us to provide our customers with new services and more delivery options which keeps them engaged with the luxury brands we represent in the region.”
“The fact that Fluent Commerce was able to move so fast, enabling us to become the first omnichannel retailer in Saudi Arabia, is the icing on the cake.”
