Patchworks raids BigCommerce to bring in Jim Herbert as CEO
E-commerce integration provider, Patchworks, has appointed Jim Herbert, as Chief Executive Officer.
Herbert joins from his position as SVP and General Manager EMEA at BigCommerce.
Patchworks works with over 200 e-commerce brands in the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia including Huel, Gymshark, and Lounge Underwear.
REWE taps Trigo tech as it opens second hybrid autonomous store
A new REWE store powered by Trigo technology has gone live in the central Berlin neighbourhood, Prenzlauer Berg.
Following REWE’s first hybrid autonomous store in Cologne, the Berlin location is nearly double the size at around 400 square metres.
Banked adds Series A investment to expand Pay by Bank network
Banked, a London-based FinTech company building a global payment network, has raised over $15 million in a Series A extension round led by Insight Partners.
The round was supported by Citi and National Australia Bank Ventures. Newly announced commercial partner and payments firm Rapyd also participated.
The extension came as a result of an oversubscribed Series A earlier this year that was led by Bank of America.
This latest infusion of capital brings Banked’s total investment raised to date to over $50 million and supports the company’s expansion into new geographies with a focus on the US.
Sodexo Engage delivers new Crown Commercial Services voucher scheme to market in record time
Implementing a rigorous systems testing process with service partner, PMC, enabled Sodexo Engage to deliver a new government related voucher scheme to market within a tight deadline.
The new Crown Commercial Services voucher scheme enables customers to easily access and exchange government-issued vouchers for equivalent tokens redeemable with various retailers.
The scheme needed building from scratch, and consequently required rigorous systems testing prior to market release.

Cloud data startup Clekt unveils new website in rebranding campaign
UK-based data specialist, Clekt, has announced a rebrand and relaunched website.
The company, which was founded in 2020, says that the refreshed appearance and remodelled site better represent its evolution, following significant progress made over the last two years.
Clekt, which offers data analytics and data integration in one platform through its cloud data platform the Enterprise Data Hub, is announcing a new flexibility of offering through the revamped website.
ifeel bags Series A funding to support companies caring for employees' mental health
ifeel, a startup providing an emotional well being service for companies, has raised an €10 million Series A investment led by UNIQA Ventures.
Nauta Capital and other investors also participated.
Born in 2017, the company has combined data analytics and clinical research by psychologists on its platform to provide employees with a way to manage their emotional well being, from self-care to therapy sessions.
