Pandora launches global hub in London to attract digital and marketing talent

Jewellery brand, Pandora, has created a global hub at its UK and Ireland head office in London, as part of a move to attract talent in the marketing, digital and technology space.

To date, the company has operated all of its global roles out of Copenhagen, Denmark, where it will retain its global HQ.

Pandora plans to drive long-term growth through a heightened focus on data and personalisation, with an aim to provide a unique customer experience in-store and online.

The new London hub has been established to fuel the business’ strategic initiatives through investments, initially, in areas such as data science, digital marketing, digital architecture and engineering and experience design.

Pandora says that, over the last two years, it has invested significantly in its digital capabilities and, with the London hub, more new roles will be added in the digital and technology field.

In 2021, 120 new hires were made in these areas.

Erik Schmidt, Chief HR Officer at Pandora, says: “To create a great customer experience, we want to know our shoppers better and how best to serve their needs – that’s where the focus on data and personalisation comes in.”

“At the same time, the competition to source talent with the digital capabilities we need is more fierce than ever. Pandora offers an amazing proposition to our people globally and given the pace our business is growing, we are flexing our approach to acquiring talent."

He adds: “Pandora’s talent acquisition specialists conducted global research to narrow down where the best digital and marketing talent for Pandora are based.”

“London was identified as a key location based on the number of key-skills workers that are based in the city, as well as its easy connections to Pandora’s global HQ in Copenhagen."

In the coming weeks, Pandora will begin hiring a number of new leads in its central London office, where the company’s UK and Ireland team across marketing, sales, finance, e-commerce, HR, communication and sustainability are based.  .
