Yochananof to roll-out Cust2mate carts in all stores in Israel
Yochananof, an Israeli supermarket chain, has placed a follow on order for an aggregate of 1,000 Cust2Mate smart carts, after an initial roll-out in stores.
The aggregate value of orders received has increased to approximately $10 million.
The increased deal was confirmed with a $1.75 million down payment. The remaining balance will be paid upon delivery of the carts which will occur on an ongoing basis and be completed by 31st October.
Yochananof has committed to rolling out Cust2Mate smart carts in all its stores in Israel.
These recognise every purchased item and enable in-cart payment so that shoppers skip lines, while also allowing retail grocers to direct people to discounted products and in-store promotions.
"We're thrilled that Yochananof is increasing the number of state-of-the-art Cust2Mate smart cart solutions for customers to 1,000 after a successful initial roll-out in their stores," comments Rafi Yam, CEO at Cust2Mate.
"Yochananof customers have expressed their satisfaction and indicated that the carts have greatly enhanced their overall shopping experience, so the chain is responding by adding more carts.”
“This follow on order validates the appeal and effectiveness of our Cust2Mate solution in a real world setting, and we remain focused on identifying strategic opportunities to introduce our carts to a wider audience of retailers."
