Jellibeans launches AI powered jelli.studio platform, backed by $1 million from knitwear supplier Aussco
Jellibeans, a fashion intelligence and analytics startup, has announced the launch of jelli.studio, an AI enabled end-to-end collaboration fashion design to production intelligence platform that uses trend forecasts to prototype or optimise new collections in as little as 30 seconds.
Jellibeans has also raised $1 million from Aussco, a knitwear supplier for the likes of The Kooples, Kate Spade, and Coach.
jelli.studio is pitched as being akin to a Canva for fashion design, but bolstered by a Bloomberg Terminal like data analytics and AI image generation capabilities.
“Democratising design and enabling all stakeholders to collaborate on the design-to-production workflow within a single platform like jelli.studio enables even larger operations like ours to radically improve efficiency by saving us much needed time and money amid today’s voracious appetite for new designs, all the while reducing waste,” says Grant J.E. Philips, Senior Vice President at Aussco.
“We started with our consumer facing application, jellibeans.com, which was used by hundreds of thousands of people but realised that the insights we had into consumer fashion trends aggregated over the last three years would prove valuable to fashion designers,” says Joanne Chow, CEO and Co-founder at Jellibeans.
“jelli.studio is a groundbreaking plug and play design and business intelligence tool for the fashion industry that not only makes it even more accessible, collaborative and data driven than ever before, but also ensures that creativity and data supported fashion design are capable of co-existing.”
The aforementioned investment from Aussco will be used to support the expansion of jelli.studio to further develop the platform into a one stop full service end-to-end solution for both fashion designers and even suppliers.
In its roadmap, jelli.studio will enable designers to not only immediately create retail ready collections, but also manufacture it with a single click.
