Valtech partners with The Very Group to support retailer’s digital transformation push

The Very Group, operator of digital retailer Very, has brought in Valtech to support its ongoing digital transformation.

The company is currently implementing a composable architecture while overhauling its end-to-end customer experience.

From strategic counsel to the implementation of processes and technology, Valtech will help The Very Group via its Valtech_Inside model.

Under the proposition, it will provide access to specialist developers and engineers to support the existing team in enhancing digital operations.

As one of the founding members of the MACH Alliance, a non-profit industry body that advocates for open and best-of-breed enterprise technology ecosystems, Valtech says it is amongst the few companies with the experience to provide businesses with the processes and technical expertise to respond at pace and scale with composable technologies.

Karl Wintrell, CTO at The Very Group, says: “We’ve already taken some big steps forward in our tech transformation, which will ultimately allow us to make changes in our digital shopping journey faster and more frequently than ever before for our 4.4 million customers.”

“The opportunity to benefit from Valtech’s infrastructure and delivery centres is the level of support we need to remain at the top of our game. Not only do we get a depth of expertise, but we also get a trusted advisor.”

Chris Daplyn, Managing Director and UK Country Manager at Valtech, says: “We are incredibly proud of our growing partnership with The Very Group. It provides the opportunity for our people to make a real impact on one of the UK’s leading online retailers and deliver better experiences for its consumers.”

“Our Valtech_Inside model has enabled us to combine expertise and scale in order to support multiple tribes within The Very Group to implement new technologies and innovative solutions that put them at the forefront of digital change.”
