Furniture retailer DFS selects Fluent Commerce order management system

UK sofa manufacturer and retailer, DFS, has chosen Fluent Commerce’s order management system (OMS) to underpin the development of its home fulfilment programme. 

“Fluent Order Management is a key component of our strategic growth plans,” says Dean Darby, Head of Central Systems and Application Development at DFS.

“It will allow us to use third-party logistics companies to deliver our beds and mattresses and stocked items - an area of the business which we are looking to grow significantly over the next five years.”

The new solution will offer DFS a single view of inventory, allowing it to implement return from anywhere and fulfil from anywhere.

Customers will be able to see improved stock levels and availability when placing orders online. In addition DFS will be able to scale up when demand increases to provide a more efficient and informative delivery process for the customer.

Wunderman Thompson is leading the integration of the solution into DFS’s existing architecture.
