Seoul founded eyewear brand Breezm launches AI powered shopping app across USA
Breezm, a South Korean founded specialist in custom fit eyewear, has launched nationwide in the United States with its iPhone app, Breezm: Eyewear Made for You.
Users can:
Complete a guided facial scan with their phone to capture precise measurements that inform how each frame is designed to fit
Receive personalised recommendations through Breezm’s AI Fit Finder, which analyses facial structure and proportions to identify frame styles optimised for balance, comfort, and lightweight wearability
Customise more than 80 frame styles, selecting from a range of colours, such as Concrete Gray, Leather Brown, and Ruby Red, and premium titanium finishes
Order custom fit eyeglasses, made on demand with Breezm’s in-house 3D printing and laser cutting process, delivered directly to their door
The app offers a full range of lens options, including single-vision prescription, progressives and readers, non-prescription, sunglasses, and light-responsive lenses, with every order backed by Breezm’s 45-day satisfaction guarantee.
“For decades, people have been told that discomfort is just part of wearing glasses,” says Zenma Hyungjin Park, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Breezm. “But faces aren’t symmetrical, and eyewear shouldn’t be built for an ‘average’ face. We design every frame around the individual, so glasses feel lighter, fit better, and disappear into daily life. And now our app allows us to deliver that same experience to customers all over the US.”
Breezm operates a network of 15 immersive retail spaces in South Korea, including a smart factory in Seongsu, Seoul, allowing visitors to see frames being 3D-printed in real-time. In 2024, it opened its New York City flagship, its first store outside of Korea. To date, the brand has served more than 90,000 customers worldwide.
“The US has always been central to Breezm’s vision,” says Silja Kim Bast, Chief Business Development Officer at Breezm. “Over the past two years in New York City, we’ve seen just how many people struggle with glasses that simply don’t fit - frames that slide, pinch, or feel uncomfortable no matter how stylish they are. Launching nationwide means we can finally meet that demand and serve customers across the country, wherever they are. Because everyone deserves glasses that fit well - and look good.”
RTIH AI in Retail Awards
RTIH proudly presents the first edition of its AI in Retail Awards, sponsored by VenHub Global, 3D Cloud and EdTech Innovation Hub.
As we witness a digital transformation revolution across all channels, AI tools are reshaping the omnichannel game, from personalising customer experiences to optimising inventory, uncovering insights into consumer behaviour, and enhancing the human element of retailers' businesses.
With 2026 set to be the year when AI and especially gen AI shake off the ‘heavily hyped’ tag and become embedded in retail business processes, our newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world and the resulting benefits for retailers, shoppers and employees.
Our 2026 winners will be those companies who not only recognise the potential of AI, but also make it usable in everyday work - resulting in more efficiency and innovation in all areas.
Winners will be announced at an evening event at The Barbican in Central London on Thursday, 29th January. This will kick off with a drinks reception in the stunning Conservatory, followed by a three course meal, and awards ceremony in the Garden Room.
