Drive-thru beverage brand 7 Brew gears up to launch first ever mobile app on 12th August
US beverage brand, 7 Brew, says it will debut its first ever mobile app on 12th August, allowing guests to order in advance, explore, discover and customise drinks, track reward points, and save and share favourites.
“We have created a mobile ordering app that is intended to be as personal and fun as the experience at our stands,” says Nick Chavez, Chief Marketing Officer at 7 Brew. “It unlocks our secret menu for the first time, putting the power to customise and build over 20,000 possible drink combinations directly in the hands of our guests. And critically, every drink will be handcrafted and made fresh upon arrival for pick-up, which is consistent with the service, speed and quality that have made 7 Brew famous.”
The app roll-out also includes enhancements to the 7 Brew Rewards programme. Members will still earn 100 points for every order and be able to redeem for any sized drink at 1,000 points but also now can “bank” points to select from exclusive merch and branded items. They will have the opportunity to participate in a “Sip Your Way to 100K Points” programme from 20th-26th August where one person will win 100,000 points, enough for a 7 Brew branded mini-fridge stocked with 7 Brew Energy, eight 7 Original Letterman Jackets, or free drinks every week for almost two years.
2026 RTIH Innovation Awards
Mobile retail will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.
Check out our 2025 winners here.
Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”
“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”
He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”
Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
