Mercaux bags RTIH best retail technology vendor award
Mercaux has emerged triumphant in the Technology Vendor of the Year (UK) category at the 2020 RTIH Innovation Awards, sponsored by PMC.
The award sits alongside a Technology Vendor of the Year (Rest of World) category and celebrates companies that have developed innovative technologies and worked with retailers to transform the customer experience or back-end operations or both.
Mercaux impressed our judging panel with its new solutions and retailer partnerships, the latter including Holland & Barrett which is using the venture’s technology to support store colleagues delivering a specialist health and wellbeing service to customers.
Sharon Peters, Head Of Technology - Marks and Spencer, HR, Finance, Corporate Services and M&S Bank, comments: “I love the fact they are adapting to the challenges retailers are/were facing and as a customer I have felt.”
“Their simple idea of engagement in queue I think is brilliant. It does seem like they really created a new service model to meet customer needs.”
Olga Kotsur, Co-founder and CEO, Mercaux, says: “We are delighted to be chosen as the winner of this year’s RTIH award for the UK Technology Vendor of the Year.”
“Throughout 2020, we diversified and released brand new solutions, including new Covid-secure service models to help retailers attract customers back.”
She adds: “Many retailers saw this year as a digital wake up call and it was great to see so many turn to Mercaux to help them serve anxious customers, both in-store and remotely.”
“We’re so pleased that the judges of this year’s award recognised the significance of digital transformation in supporting retail’s recovery.”
