Thyngs hits crowdfunding target

PayTech venture, Thyngs, has raised over £300,000 in a crowdfunding round launched in early January. “Thanks to all our new investors, our partners – and our brilliant team – raising over £300,000 in #crowdfunding on @Crowdcube to kick-start the #cashless revolution,” the company tweeted this morning. “We’re still open for investment for the next week if you want to join the party.”

Investors include Founder of Tossed, Vincent McKevitt, and Financial Director, Neil Sebba, who injected an undisclosed amount of cash. The pair became interested in the company as a possible solution to the glut of payment apps out there. Supporting the likes of Android Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal, the Thyngs platform works via QR and NFC tags.
