adidas stakes a claim for store of the year
adidas recently opened the doors to its new Oxford Street flagship store.
Retail analyst and RTIH Innovation Awards judge, Tiffany Lung, checked it out and has become a newly converted adidas fan as a result.

In a LinkedIn post that flags up the store’s digital fitting rooms, mobile service and interactive stations, she concludes: “The overall concept of the store and the technology used elevated and improved the customer journey, fostered creativity with its interactive community-building initiatives - just as it should be, mirroring its brand ethos.”
Going for gold
For its efforts, adidas has been shortlisted in the RTIH Innovation Awards Bricks and Mortar Innovation category.
Also in the running are Westfield London’s The Trending Store, Puma’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York and Samsung KX in King’s Cross, London. Further details here.
